October 7 - 9, 2016
9AM - 4PM

Come learn and paint with master plein air artist William Hanson. See how he can transform a simple plein air sketch to a finished painting on the beautiful grounds of Mystic Seaport along the picturesque Mystic River. Watch and learn as he translates his love of all things maritime and his enthusiasm for plein air painting into completed works. He will show how to compose an interesting scene, how to use color, and how to paint what you see.
